Lovely location on a Summer afternoon. The restaurant is located in the garden of a traditional Quinta next to a stunning garden. The service is excellent and the waiters are always around to ensure you have all you want. The service was attentive, fast and accommodating. The quality of the food presented was great, modern and tasty. The padron peppers were delicious, the octopus croquettes were good, the black ink was a bit powerful though. The highlight was probably the open pulled pork tacos, tasty meat, crunchy salad and just enough of citrus. Will visit again :)
nice place a bit like posh style so also a bit expensive. i have to say it would be nice if you go with that intention, in my case it was not my intention. whatever: the food was good i enjoyed it, not the best bacalhau a bras but still nice. what i loved was the ceviche OMG it was super delicious would recommend!!!! great for summer evenings:)
It is indeed a very nice place. It is close to the river (but no river view) but within a famous garden so the mood couldn’t be better. I went there late November so the fireplace was on but I wonder what it would be like in the summer to enjoy the outside view.
Food is very good, although portions are a bit too small. I strongly recommend this cheese (check photo), delicious!
It is always good to know that new places are opening regularly in Seixal and that some of them are good surprises.
With a concept mainly based on tapas this place gives more strength to the idea that simple is better!
Included inside the complex of Quinta da Fidalga the restaurant is a well hidden surprise. But they should prevent the impact of being well hidden by investing in more communication to the public.
With a comfortable environment and a trendy decoration it is pleasent to get inside and look into all the details. You will also have the option to stay in the outdoor space that in summer days assumes a positive advantage to the place.
The staff is friendly and efficient, altough it needs to learn how to manage with the kitchen the rhythm of putting food on the table. It was too fast and too crowded at a certain point...so crowded that the table space was not enough...and it was not that many plates...
The food has an amazing taste and a nice presentation, combining a traditional side of doing tapas with some modern aproaches in some details like the sauces or some of the used ingridients. A note for the good variety of wines, altough not extensive they present good options.
The one completely negative point are the deserts...please please please kill your desert strategy!! A place like this deserves the same level of preparation of deserts that the client can find in your plates! And not pre made and tasteless deserts like the one's tasted...
In summary it is place full of potential and quality to become a reference in the Tapas league if...and only if the deserts follow the same direction...or else the client will leave with the feeling that something is missing and no cherry was placed on the top of the cake.
Nice, Cozy and beautiful place, the food is very well done and yummy, the waiters are very friendly and helpful. If you want to be there in a group or just with someone to have a talk it's a wonderful place.
Tasty food, good wine, and a great environment. Staff was super friendly.
Good food, lovely decoration and staff. Th location is near to the river in a picturesque quinta da fidalga. I really recommend a visit. We can't wait to come back!
I had this vegetable tempura. It was absolutely incredible. Can't wait to visit again with an empty belly! Fantastic Tapas spot. Amazing Garden setting. Casual stylish environment. Highly recommend.
